an easy way to tame is to go in the bathtub and place your hammy inside with yourself. Let him explore around you don't panic if he bites you he's probably just scared. The easiest way to prevent this is to put some familier items in with him like a chew toy. Grab a treat and slowly move it closer leading him to your leg other hand ect. let him grab the treat away when he's on the "body part" that you want him to be. Don't put him in the middle of your legs if you're sitting criss-cross he might feel trapped. Keep doing this about every day as long as you feel he feels safe to be around you. the next step is, when he's on your hand eating carefully move your hand up (not to far as he can hurt himself if he falls.) cup your hands around him and if he feels a little unconfortable or scared place him down again. Like i said Up there keep doing it until he feels confortable in the palm of your hand.

Now you can spend alot more time with your furry friend
